The idea of the program is very good, but the documentation and the support is very bad. Adding new items without problems is not possible

You have a great concept but when I wave books at the webcam and nothing happens whatever I try, it is very frustrating to have nowhere to go for help, except a forum, where the only answer to a problem like mine was "adjust the focus", what do I do when I have autofocus and nothing to adjust!
This app will not stand up for itself in the market or realise its fuull potential unless you can support users properly. It is very misleading to call it version 0.9.2 as this indicates an almost release ready product, which this clearly isn't
I'm trying to import a simple text file of books, but I get the error "failed to import any recognisable items". What format do the import files need to be in (fields, etc). I guess the same would go for importing an Excel file.

I would love to run this software on my hp ipaq, I have tried to run the software via an sd card but no luck. There is nothing you need to know.I have a bunch of DVD's just just select DEFAULT LIBRARY from the pop up menu go to ADD type in the name of your DVD eg. the sea inside but you should type it correctly as it is or you get NO RESULT FOUND FOR..... by the way you shloud be connected to internet then you can choose from the drop down menu your favorite sites AMAZON UK by default. Hit that small black arrow that appears after you type in your DVD name and wait for the result search through the result found and choose your exact DVD cover according to the released year,director and so on the last step you need to do is to hit the ADD TO LIBRARY button and the cover you've chosen is in your default library everytime you open the program you do these steps for your music,game and books but remember to choose them from the drop down list before searching.Go back to library again choose one of your DVD and in the right side pane you can add details,tags etc,. try to explore the software in case of any question you are welcome shoot your question.

I had a Creative Live Cam Video IM Pro and have tried using it with Libra. I cannot get the screen where you click to scan on at the same time as the screen of the cam trying to record the barcode? should I give up and get a barcode scanner?
I just started using Libra and it truly is a beautiful cataloging tool. I would like to know how to allow others to view my library. I work in an office environment and office mates need to see what's available and check out the resources. Can anyone tell me how this is done?
Take the HTML code from your library and make a webpage or you can print out catalogs... you could also share the Library file with the whole office (useing windows shareing options)
There should be a way of having different collections types of DVDs or books, etc. in one library. For example, keeping music DVDs, separate from movie DVDs or information DVDs, but all in the DVD section of the library.
Try using Tags. Once you've entered an item into your library, click on it. It'll then appear in a pane on the right. Click next to Tags, then enter Music. On the drop down box in the top left, you can then select which items you want to display.
I've only just installed this, so I'm alittle bit shaky on the terms. But I hope it works
To delete an item you need to be in "Library" mode and you have to click on the item that you want to delete. This will bring it individually to the right side of the screen and once there you should see the word "Delete" as an option somewhere in the vicinity of the title. Click on it and it is gone!

I agree. I need simple instructions on how to use libra. Also, instead of scanning in, could be just plug in the isbn # and have the web do the rest?
