Internet Explorer Script Error

Every time I start up the program I get an error dialog box titled Internet Explorer Script Error.
The box has a big yellow triangle with an exclamation point and the note: An error has occurred in the
script on this page
with the following details:

  • Line: 129
  • Char: 24
  • Error: Object expected
  • Code: 0
  • URL: http://www.getlibra.com/forum/

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Whether I push the Yes or No button doesn't seem to matter; the program still works just fine.

Note, that that happens if I open the program with an empty database, the sample, or my growing database of my collections.

IE Version

What version of Internet Explorer are your running? Try uninstalling and then reinstalling Internet Explorer.

IE Version

7.0.5730.13

I just let WinXP do its thing, so reinstalling it is, well, problematic. Honestly, I'd like the program MUCH better if it didn't integrate MSIE --- near as I can tell it's only so it can display the web site and forums and I don't use that feature anyway.

It looks like it is

It looks like it is contacting the forum so could it be possible a firewall is stopping it?

Maybe firewall...?

I don't really know how to check that out---I can access the forums just fine from within Firefox.

However, if the problem is just with the web-access-through-program I guess I'll just ignore it as I access the forums through web-browser (and not Libra) anyway.

Thanks for the help.

Internet Explorer script error

I'm having exactly the same issue and I noticed it yesterday, without me changing any settings. The error is occuring on both my laptop and desktop machines.

It seems as though there is a problem with the scripting on this forum as the error points me here.
