Hi!
Great piece of software!
I was wondering if you could add Canadian movie ratings to the list of ratings as well. These would be G, PG, 14A, 18A, and R.
G, PG, and R already exist, but R rating in Canada is much stricter than in the States. I'd like to use the Canadian system as 95% of my library are Canadian rated, and IMO, the Canadian system is better anyways.
Thanks!

okay...
Ok, I did some editing in the .xml files. Added the canadian ratings that are not included, reload Libra, and noticed that many of my DVDs ratings had been updated to reflect the correct rating (14A and 18A in a lot of cases, I used Amazon Canada as my default search).
Many of the ratings are still as 'G', seems to be a default one if no rating listed; I'll need to manually edit those I guess...
Same here
How did you do this? Over here in England, it's basically the same story, like U, PG, 12a, 15 and 18s. I have no idea how to change it.

All the various details are put together by the XML files.
In this case, you need the :\\Libra\plugin\item Folder, and the ItemDVD.xml file.
Open for editing, word pad should work fine, and look for the right string.. something like..
Property name="Rating" db="rating" type="enum" default="Unknown"
enum="G,PG,PG-13,R,NC-17,NR,unrated,6,12,16,18,Family Viewing,Unknown" attr="default,impt"/
Then you should just be able to change as ya see fit, start or restart Libra and double check, bam, success*
*probably**
**really, if your machine somehow catches fire, its not my fault.
Adding Ratings
This did not work for me.
I even tried replacing existing entries in case there was some numerical limit.
Even when creating a new library file, the original list of ratings is preserved.
This is a bummer for me, I actually wanted to add the US TV ratings TV-G, TV-MA, TV-Y7, etc., for my TV show DVDs
