I'm about to reformat my PC - what must I do in order to not lose my precious database of movies/books that I spent so much creating. Is it a matter or exporting - will everything carry over ; or is there a file somewhere that I could drag/drop after reformat?

You should do an export as a secondary backup. However if you save the Libra database file, you can reconnect to that after you have reloaded the application. I did that a few months ago.
