About Us

CodeJam, the creator of Libra, is the slowest growing Fortune 2^1000 company based in Singapore (see our infamous driving direction below). We started life in 2002 as a tiny bootstrap outfit selling our ever popular MemoriesOnTV slideshow software, and the company has been profitable as well as debt-free since its inception.

Libra (short for Library, not a new kind of bra) is our new experimentation with alternative software business model. Instead of charging for software directly, we are giving it out for free (for non-commercial use) in the hope that we will rake in enough Amazon affiliate revenue (& possibly others down the road) to sustain the development. We believe this represents a good win-win model, whereby end-users are well served with a supported freeware, & Amazon's merchants increase their revenue as a result. We're just the middleman to make this happen.

Whether Libra takes off will ultimately depend on the users (you). If you'd like to make it a sustainable product that continues to be developed, help us spread the word.

Driving Instructions from US:

OK, you need a REALLY good vehicle (and some serious medical insurance) to do this. We think it's only possible to do it in spring, when the river in the Bering Strait is frozen & you still get enough daylight.

Here's the direction:

Drive to Alaska, cross the Bering Straits into Russia, and then head down to China, and continue south into South East Asia. Once you've reached the end of South East Asia that can be reached by roads alone, you're in Singapore. Erm... We think...
